      I have come here to talk about my recent book, or rather about the main thesis of the book which says that despite enormous differences, clear to everyone with elementary intelligence and knowledge, differences which in no way should be minimized, there is a considerable resemblance between communism and liberal democracy.   Though democracy seems to be on the rise and communism on wane, especially with the fall of Soviet Union, there are people who feel that communism is better than democracy.
